If you are new to swimming, cycling or running, you may wish to select a triathlon event designed for beginners which are shorter. So what happens at a typical
Australian Triathlon? You are almost ready to enter transition and leave your bike and gear. Have a last think now about your ride. There is a steep beginning to the Port ride, so make sure your bike is in the correct gear before you leave it in transition. Also, decide whether you wish to leave you bike shoes on the pedals or not. Putting your feet in cycling shoes is tricky and most non-professionals don’t bother. Now you are ready to enter the transition, so secure your helmet on your head and enter transition..... |
